My Background & Qualifications

Purpose & Passion
My primary purpose in life is to help people to understand their hearts and minds and to help people cultivate a felt-sense of love, mattering and worthiness. I am also motivated by the experience of human empowerment (self-determination, autonomy, self-sovereignty) that arises from emotional and mental clarity. I myself am a spiritual seeker and have been on a self-discovery journey for 15+ years, trying everything from journaling, qigong, meditation, sensory deprivation tanks, psychonautical medicinal voyages, transformational breath techniques and more obscure studies to try to understand the cosmos and my place in it. And so I bring a wealth of dedication to understanding myself in service of helping you understand yourself.

Nuts & Bolts
I have over seven years of experience as a performance coach in corporate settings and more than 15 years working in healthcare and end-of-life professions, including cancer care and transplant donation, where I supported grieving families and individuals facing difficult prognoses.

Since 2015, I have studied and practiced Nonviolent Communication (NVC) and currently co-facilitate workshops on alternative approaches to conflict resolution with A Center for Restorative Solutions in Seattle, WA.

I am a certified employee engagement specialist and trained as a coach with the Co-Active Training Institute (CTI), which is a gold standard program within the field of coaching. I also hold an M.Ed. in History & Philosophy of Education from the University of Washington.

In Fall 2025, I will be returning to school to begin training to become a licensed mental health practitioner.
I believe that therapy and life coaching complement each other, and I am committed to deepening my expertise in both to better support my clients.
